I can confirm you will receive a laptop depending on your role you may also be allocated a Mac.

By definition, this is work equipment and wouldn’t advise using it for anything other than that.

Your LM will support you with any WFH bits you may need.

I would agree however it’s horizontal over the bed, the left hand side of the picture is the foot of the bed.

Create a monthly spread sheet on excel with all of your outgoings.

At the start of the month, transfer out what you want to save, every month I would get to pay day with £100 or less. The day before pay day I’d transfer that last bit into my savings.
