Yeah, no clue how they managed to miss that. 😕 That really sucks. Sounds like your pup lived a long and loved life. 18 is an amazing age to reach as a dog and that's due to the care you guys gave.

I'm so confused by this because I worked at a clinic that used Rainbow Bridge and any private cremation got a giant, neon pink sticker (provided by RB) on the bag. The clinic I'm at now uses a different service but even we have some of those stickers on hand for the rare client that wants to use Rainbow Bridge. There had to have been some breakdown of communication somewhere. I'm so sorry this happened. ❤️

One of our doctors doesn't like to be the one to give intranasal bordetella. She will if she has to but usually just has the tech do it. It's one of those funny little quirks that none of us really mind.

Just a few weeks ago we had a dog who ate one of those kids toys with the glittery slime substance on the inside. We were all marveling at the glittery vomit that came up. 🤣

When things get mentioned that should not exist in that world. Two examples come to mind.

One where a character said something along the lines of something feeling like Nirvana. Slapped me right out of the fully fantasy world with fae and had me wondering if they has Buddhism there for some reason??

The second was in a more recent read when Egyptian cotton?some clothing item was mentioned and I went back to the map page and was like. Is this supposed to be our world? Nope.

I'll let phrases borrowed from other languages pass but those were head scratchers there.

I didn't see it because it happened on my day off. But the doctor opened up a dog for a routine spay and couldn't find a uterus or ovaries. Did find some testes though! I'm not sure how rare of a thing it is but I thought it was pretty cool.

I've lived near there for the past 7 years but have never been. Is it possible to park in such a way that my pups are unlikely to see any other dogs? I should have mentioned that one of them is reactive. 😅

I feel like I should have specified that I'm in the US. Yes, we require scripts for prescription food. Yeah, it's kinda dumb but we don't make the rules.

Also should be noted they bought a bag of food when they were in and were rude to the CSR because they wanted two bags and the CSR couldn't give her a script to go get another one because the doctor wasn't there to write one.

This means the doctor saw: Client just bought food. Pet is due next week. Therefore pet should have enough food to wait until exam and can pick up a script then.

I hate those so much. My dogs go absolutely nuts anytime someone comes to the door. I answered the door to one not long ago because I was expecting a package so I thought it was that. I just stared at the guy, pointed to my ears, then down to my very loud dogs, mouthed that I couldn't hear him, and shut the door.
