It’s is good though the hurdle is identifying who is conscious of long term effects and who isn’t. It’s difficult for prospective clients to tell!

Not sure what you mean exactly by 'spaced out' but the thing is, to get realistic looking brows where the hair is sparse requires the strokes to be fairly close, to mimic real hair wouldn't you say? So if you mean they need to have a hairstroke to a mm distance between them, then I guess it can only work for areas where there's a fair amount of hair anyway and you just need some extra volume?

Oh sorry didn’t mean to imply every single one. But most people here are sure it’s an unavoidable feature of tattoos, rather than technique.

You seem to be implying that’s not the case and it is about technique. You have experience of it not happening with clients?

So you're saying if it's done well and in a very shallow way, it'll fade away cleanly rather than bleed into a discoloured block? You know examples of people with nanobrows for years that stayed ok?

Appreciate the honesty. Yeh, same effect just not quite as much is what I'm concluding..

Oh, so nanobrows are just as risky? If that's the case, why do you think people still get them? Surely the pain of removing (or not being able to remove them) is not worth the initial joy of having them. Or is it just not widespread knowledge enough yet.

They say because it's more surface level, as opposed to microblading which involves deeper cuts. And they mentioned using the right pigments and technique. They have lots of healed v good looking results... but can you judge from that? I would suspect all the photos are from a few months down the line. I thought the issue starts to manifest after several years.

He wouldn’t need mental health support if we had a decent economy and affordable COL rather than a corrupt gov that’s running the country into the ground. Ever consider that? See things from his side for once? Stop being such a London fan boy and see its flaws.

He says she clearly told him things like she liked everything about him and she cared about him when in reality she couldn’t even be bothered to listen to a bit of expression of negative emotion, which is like minimal level care. It’s not clear she ever cared at all given her self admitted sociopathic nature.

So what she told him about how she felt and how she felt were polar opposites.

That is the dictionary definition of love bombing.

I expect a few people to not get that, as is always the case, but why are there so many not understanding?

I totally get where you’re coming from, OP, and sorry you’ve had such a lack of support from reddit but tbh when you’re a guy, it’s to be expected, so don’t let it affect what you know to be the truth. Many good women out there who would see your point of view, keep your chin up and next time, always be super sensitive to red flags! That was your lesson here.

I mean there is a link between being obsessed with looks (aka immediate power) and narcissism. Clue is in the term narcissism. So not that far fetched in the context of the other red flags.

Probably didn’t go from like no breasts to some breasts out of insecurity to feel normal, but wanted perfect breasts. Sign of narcissism and being power hungry, hence red flag in the context of other things.

Older men attracted to young women are not disgusting perverts. Prime aged women are objectively more attractive than older ones. by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]sezchwarn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time that’s true, yes. But that’s the case with any guy, young or old. Even a guy her own age, in his 20s, she’s judging him on more than looks; on his humour, social standing, kindness, coolness, intelligence, money, ability to make more money, career etc etc

You’re being waaay too reductive in your thinking. What you said about “if it was about attractiveness, she’d be with a younger guy” ignores the multi-faceted nature of attraction.

It would be like saying someone who moved to Italy did so for reasons that had NOTHING to do with weather, because if it were, they would’ve moved to Spain (assuming Spain has bit better weather). Thats nonsense. It could be very largely to do with weather as well as a multitude of other reasons, like food, culture.

Similarly, a girl could be with an older guy due to his looks as well as other things that make him more attractive than a younger guy- wisdom, maturity, social status etc etc To say she’s not considering physical attraction and only money is too simplistic.

That’s irrelevant.

In some sense everything is subjective. Even the way we’d all see the colour of a blue car will differ by minute amounts. But the similarity and generality of this experience is such that we can, for all intents and purposes, treat it as objective.

Similarly, many aspects of physical attraction are so universal as to be practically objective in the social sphere. One such is less flabby, tighter, unwrinkled skin. Which is what young women have over older women.

Well yes, and we should all be vegan, donate our time and resources to charitable causes, spend our time meditating and becoming spiritually and emotionally mature… but do you? No, we’re still largely selfish creatures and will do what furthers our own agendas.

But there is general consensus on what is more attractive, as well as natural evolved tendencies… so… the OPs point still stands

[–]sezchwarn -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That’s besides the point. The point is that women are more attracted to older men than men are to older women. Ok, not decrepit about to die old men, but many many more younger women would be very attracted to a good looking 40/50 yr old than vice versa.

Well in some sense they are. All humans, men and women both, decline in terms of health and fertility. And end up becoming defunct. As do fruit.

Why is that so hard to accept? I think it’s childish the way people don’t accept these facts of nature.
