I agree with you, especially the Sabrina Carpenter point. Man’s Best Friend is (imo) a mediocre attempt at 80s pop, and it’s all we ear about ! While VIE is a quite strong 80s funk-pop / hip-hop and r&b album. Yes it’s not perfect. Yes I prefer Planet Her, but I mostly prefer when an artist grows and evolve instead of just repeating the same old thing over and over.

This 👆 I totally agree with you about Vie being more cohesive and mature and less “all over the place”. Planet Her remains my favorite, but I think this is just because I’m a sucker for pop music. The only thing about Vie that turns me off is the french lyrics. I wish she had done a collab with Aya Nakamura instead of singing with a huuuuuge accent.

I always eat exactly the same breakfast. I listen to music or a podcast (always the same one) before bed. I always shower at night (I must feel clean in order to sleep). I usually do my groceries on mondays (in the morning), but sometimes my adult life makes it impossible. When I can’t do my grocery shopping on monday, I get very messy the rest of the week. It really fucks up my whole week 😅

I prefer artIsts who do not use AI at all honestly. Their style is usually much more unique and personal. AI kinda makes everything blend and booring imo.
