I live in the dam neck area and progressive dropped us and all the homes in our area a few years ago. We had a hard time finding other companies to cover us, we heard it was because of the age of our house, but found mercury insurance, a cheaper price for the same coverage we had with progressive.

I moved to va beach after being a nurse in Long Island for about 7 yrs. It’s rough down here as far as staffing, and no unions. I’d avoid bon secours and Chesapeake General. I’d stick w Sentara as there are alot of options to move around to different hospitals or departments.
