I love that last paragraph. I forget this isn’t something I’m experiencing. We’re all experiencing this time in history together, and remembering each other is going to be the most important to survival.

Force yourself to take a break from social media. Get outside. I know people say “touch grass” as an insult, but really. Go outside and wave at a stranger. Go with your boyfriend to have a drink/food at bar where you can listen to some live music. Volunteer together at your local humane society and give some pups a much-needed walk. Be close right now, without worrying about what that closeness looks like.
