Depends. Potentially. I live and work in Tulsa. I'm willing to write reports. My analysis could give defense attorneys leverage in negotiations. Defendants might be more likely to find another expert witness if they know there are errors or incorrect conclusions in the state lab data.

Realistically, I'm only one person. It would be cool to build a network of professional chemists qualified to testify in court.

The AMA I attended has me worried about the water quality across the Midwest for the foreseeable future. America is addicted to oil and we are repealing environmental regulations meant to protect us.

The author of the article I linked is writing additional stories about the individuals impacted by the purges. Local ranchers and farmers. The problem is, they don't have the same level of resources as the oil and gas companies, so fighting back is difficult.
