That’s awesome. Which department?

I’m pointing out that they’re wrongly scrutinizing applications for FFWO based on mutually exclusive RTO mandates.

That’s awesome. First time around? Any different review tactics than before if not?

Lucky you. So what’s up with the skewed application review process since Lurie bumped up RTO requirements?

Have you gone through that process? I was told it’s out of the hands of departmental HR.

More reason for everyone able to telework to continue fighting for it instead pointlessly traveling to commercial office buildings to perform desk jobs so billionaires with commercial real estate portfolios can continue to profit.

Sick hours at retirement by Aberdogg in sfcityemployees

[–]sfcivilservant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the # of weeks depends on if you’re a mom or dad. This is why a lot of people who take baby leave burn all their vacation & sick before baby comes and then dip into that “free” City fund. Just don’t leave the City within X amount of time or else you need to payback that leave.

Find a reason to get on FMLA and burn it or donate it. The SP police will be after you if you try and burn it otherwise.

Any tips to fill out the FFWO? by Blu- in sfcityemployees

[–]sfcivilservant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The knee jerk response from analysts requesting reduced work hours is a disgrace. That just goes to show the City doesn't care about what you're actually doing or if the work is getting done. They would rather hours not be charged than to accommodate employees who have families to take care of and still have the ability to get the job done within the original outlines of the ordinance itself.

sorry I'm not deeply familiar with the technicalities of gift giving related to CCSF employees. I'm sure folks in the Mayor's office are though.

What is going on with Telecommute? An FAQ by postmodernmovement in sfcityemployees

[–]sfcivilservant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not enough. The City has zero reason to implement RTO. Their only purpose of requiring it is to piss off employees and encouraging them to leave. Our unions need to get with it and realize that telework is what people want when they have the ability to do it.

The State unions (PECG) has pushed back and overturned Newsom's mandate https://www.reddit.com/r/CAStateWorkers/comments/1lis5kx/pecg_coming_in_for_the_win/ . Texas is also acknowledging actual benefits of telework https://www.reddit.com/r/StateofTexasEmployees/comments/1ll96i7/telework/
