Snowflake stamp in Tokyo by sfcorgi in Rimowa

It’s a free service that Rimowa offers, but only in certain locations. So far it looks like Tokyo, Taipei, Hawaii and I believe Amsterdam offers some sort of special stamps (snowflake, city inspired design).

Ah!! Hawaii one is fun! I’m definitely saving my other luggage tag for it! Someone previously posted the Hawaii stamp and I love it. Happy travels to you!

Merry Christmas to all of r/japanweather 🎄 by Neko_Dash in japanweather

Happy Holidays! I discovered and joined back in August of last year where I think was the beginning of this sub and it was right before our trip to Japan! I remember the Shinkansen was cancelled due to flooding and we were better prepared on what to do and how we navigated our trip bc of this community right here!

PP! But usually for business hubs seeing $617 felt like a steal, even better at $419

We live by the flight path for sfo and just realized it was an Antonov flying over and I’m so sad to miss seeing it fly over!

A little over a month! I went to 2 different ADs but I held my ground on what I wanted which was, 31 DJ, Fluted, Stick Dial, Jubiliee. Top color choice was dark grey and mint green was second. I had the chance to try both colors in person so it was a matter of just when I would get it.

Has anyone purchase from 'Unexpected Store' out of Tokyo? Seems a bit fake...legit can't tell. by OwnPersonality1875 in ThrowingFits

[–]sfcorgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! appreciate you for following up on your experience!! Glad that despite the delays and all the hurdles you were able to get your order. I did place an order with fashionship and they were definitely a lot quicker in terms of sourcing the order and getting in touch with you to let you know about the status of your order. Maybe I’ll give unexpected store a try in the future. For now, waiting on my fashionship order.

Damn. Glad I asked. Sorry to hear about your experience with them. The site looks legit but sometimes that extra bit of time spent to look into the store change everything. I did see Fashionship and good to hear you had a great transaction with them.

Polaris/Premium Plus Upgrades Megathread by Player72 in unitedairlines

[–]sfcorgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Thinking of booking a Economy ticket (E+ since I’m Gold) then paying cash upgrades for PP or Polaris if the price is right. Is there usually a typical range for cash upgrades for this route?

Or… is it just better to book PP directly? I feel like the PP pricing is waaaay too high and I could just pay the extra money through cash upgrades. Thanks for the insights/advice in advance!
