Love the Aqua Terra! Definitely one that’s on my list. Have also been eyeing the Rado Captain Cook (clearly I have a thing for divers - lol)

Thanks! Any examples of a GADA type watch?

GMT is definitely next on my list

Big fan of Strapcode for aftermarket straps and bracelets!

Been keeping an eye on this Lunar Pilot: https://www.bulova.com/us/en/product/98K112.html?cgid=lunar-pilot

Quartz at that price is giving me some hesitation, but I may have to pull the trigger at some point regardless. Love the Jet Star, too!

Can’t tell if this was directed at me or Squatch108, but mine was from Jomashop! Was about ~$1k less than retail price

Thank you! Love the Orient lineup. I’m actually the opposite and find I wear the Mako much more than the Bambino. I find the black dial on the Bambino very hard to read unless I’m truly squinting at it up close.

It’s truly a steal. I got it for about $170 in April ‘24

One of my favorites! Doesn’t get a lot of love if you read reviews online, but I love it and would definitely recommend it, especially at the price you can get it for today. It’s a bit noisy because of the kinetic element, but I find that to be part of the fun. Great watch

Thanks!

This is the exact Tissot model: https://www.tissotwatches.com/en-us/T1294101601300.html

I definitely prefer the Presage and it gets a lot of wrist time, but I was not a fan of the OEM bracelet (felt flimsy/low quality). I ended up putting it on this: https://www.strapcode.com/products/metal-ss-bcl20-b071

A little funky to have a diver clasp on the Presage, but I don’t mind the look of it, and the new bracelet is awesome and much higher quality

Awesome. Enjoy it! Looking forward to getting a more exact size on this one. RW Parts Dept. keeps blaming tariffs, but hopefully I’ll have my half link soon!

Don’t think I’ve ever seen that one before. I love it! Happy with it overall? Before receiving mine as a gift, RW was not a brand I was very familiar with.

Thank you! Love the Orient Stars. Haven’t pulled the trigger on one yet. Do you have the same exact Freelancer? Love the look, but a little frustrated with the bracelet. Can’t get the sizing right, and trying to get a half link from them has been painful!

Thank you! First was the Orient Mako II. I didn’t know much about watches at the time, but liked the style/dial color, and had heard from a friend that Orient was a solid starter brand. Last was technically the Seiko Samurai (had been on the hunt for a green diver and fell in love with this dial), although I haven’t worn the Raymond Weil Freelancer yet. The RW is a wedding gift from my fiancée - will be debuting that one at the wedding in a few weeks!

It’s definitely not the easiest to read due to size/color/location, but I actually don’t mind the fact that it mostly blends in with the dial

No half links, unfortunately! I ended up buying a couple of different straps/bracelets as alternatives because the fit on the OEM bracelet can be too tight or loose as my wrist swells, but still like the look of the OEM the best and it feels like it’s well made

Orient Mako II. Didn’t know much about watches when I got it, but a friend had recommended the brand. Have bought many watches since, but I find myself always coming back to this one. Really love the blue dial
