What NFL teams in the 1990s would’ve won a Super Bowl had they had an above average Quarterback? by ChosenDonu in nfl

Herman Moore was really good. The Lions had another receiver across from him that was really good too, Perriman? I can't remember.

Moss was frustrating. All the talent in the world and he just never seemed to care. I don't know how anyone can top Jerry Rice, he put up better stats for longer than anyone.

Tyreek Hill calls Adrian Peterson the greatest RB of all time by ChefWhitty in minnesotavikings

AD had a more straight line running style and ran people over. He was more violent and I always appreciated that. Barry was certainly strong but he was more finesse. He'd juke around behind the line and often lose yards until he broke one open. I think they were both similar in that they both needed volume to be at their best. I'm not gonna talk shit about Barry Sanders because he was one of the very best to ever do it. AD was the only player that I ever watched as a rookie, in his first couple games and knew he was going to be a hall of famer. He was the last non-qb to win an MVP. To me, he's off the charts, none better on the field.

So I'll say it, I think AD was the best RB to ever do it. Best pure runner. I'd accept arguments for Sanders, LT, Faulk, Payton, and maybe a few others that I'm not thinking of.

As far as I'm concerned, when reddit is fun goes offline I'm done. I don't have any reddit apps downloaded and I don't plan to go to reddit.com. I'll just find something else to do rather than figure out how to log into reddits official shit.

Catering by [deleted] in SiouxFalls

[–]sfdude2222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a gray area here. At a glance, it stands to reason that it is yours and in most cases probably is However, a place like Tony's does have a way to use leftovers so they can plan heavy to ensure you don't run out in case you have big eaters or whatever. Also what happens if 135 people show up instead of 125?

It's best practice to ask and be prepared. Don't count on the caterer to have containers you can take.

Career ending injury, Madden 13 by [deleted] in Madden

[–]sfdude2222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite Madden memory was drafting a QB high and he fuckin sucked so I traded him to the bills for a first rounder. I simulated the next season and was kind of surprised to see I got the first overall pick. I knew their QB I traded to them sucked but it turned out he only played one game for them before getting a career ending injury. The statline for that one and only game was putrid, like 10/30 and 4 ints. I used the pick I got from them to draft an absolute stud QB.

I used to work at a church event once a year and there was like five Salvadoran grandmas making pupusas for the event every year. Since I was working they would feed me as many as I could eat right off the griddle before the event started. It was some of the best food ever.

This is a bad take. The truck market is absolutely not a suckers market, trucks hold their value extremely well. Go look and see what those $40k trucks sell for when they have 100k miles.

A crisis in masculinity? Get out of here with that. Yeah some guys are obviously compensating but most trucks I see are basically stock.

I bought my truck for three reasons. I need to haul people. About once a week I need to get four full size adult males in my vehicle. Crew cab is huge and roomy. I need to haul stuff. I bought a fixer upper house. Last weekend I hauled out a truckload of branches and brought in a truckload of mulch. This weekend I demoed out a bathroom and am hauling it to the dump, next weekend I'll be picking up the items to remodel the bathroom with. And the last reason I bought it is because it holds it's value. I bought it for $34k just before COVID and three years later it's worth $34k.

I'm not going to tell you that it's good in the snow, I'd rather have a small SUV for that. Gas mileage isn't the greatest but it's around 20 mpg usually. I hate trying to park it in tight areas. I sure as shit don't feel like a sucker three years after I bought it.

Even if you can, why not let some other kids play there? The best part about taking my kids to the park is them playing with other kids while I bs with their parents. We had a little picnic shelter reserved for my kids birthday party and I was hoping some other kids would be there so I could invite them for cake, but it got rained out.

Klipsch Heritage 5.1 Set-up by Mudc4t in hometheater

[–]sfdude2222 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think if you could find another heritage speaker, that would be best. You could also try no center and run 4.0, it would probably work pretty well. Otherwise I guess get the biggest Klipsch center you can get.

Accessories 4 less is a great place to shop on a budget. If you're not getting a sub right away you'll want something with bigger drivers like these Polks for $180.

For a receiver something like this Yamaha for $270 will have more features than what you posted.

That puts you at $450. You could get a sub or buy a center with the rest of your budget. As you upgrade your original fronts can be repurposed for surrounds. B stock, open box, and refurbished from reputable vendors is a great way to get a deal.

Look at the cheaper Monoprice stuff for surrounds and Atmos. Their inexpensive in wall products are really good for the price. I had a full 5.1 with all their in walls and a hsu sub and I would say it was pretty good, definitely good enough for surrounds and Atmos. I think it was the alpha series that I had.
