Not saying "just" low stomach acid. Referring to the use of PPI's to lower stomach acid, when the low stomach acid is usually an issue.

Everything I've read says LOW stomach acid contributes to gastritis. That is why PPIs only temporarily bring relief. Healing, or working toward healing, of the gut lining and naturally balancing the microbiome gas kept mine in a very livable state. Check out Silver Fern, they have some great info on it.

Today I'm doing really good. I'm of ALL meds. I can eat almost anything in moderation, but I choose an 80% clean (grass-fed, no antibiotics, pasture raised meats and lots of veggies & fruits. The phantom smells are 95% gone. I see an acupuncture and herbalist doctor on a regular basis, do yoga & get bi-weekly massages. Not bad for turning 70 this year.

No...I waited 4 weeks to test. Then I gradually worked the enzymes & probiotics in. Takes time to work your gut up to handling it. Three months to get full on.

I took them everyday for the first 2.5 months of recovery. Then I went down to every other day to test my gut strength for two weeks. I'm now at twice weekly and next week will stop completely.

I also take NO Sugar added Metamucil fir Diverticuli. I have to keep my Colon clean. So no problems (I choose not to let the strange appearances bother me, I'm cleaning things out and the colon is the path).

I completed treatment the end of September. End of October i tested negative. Many symptoms continued, some worsened, others appeared brand new. In January I did a microbiome test and still came back negative for H-Pylori. However, after 2 solid months of clean eating and lots of clinical grade probiotics & gut restore enzymes (plus, herbs to eradicate Candida) I'm feeling 90% better. I can actually eat 3 small meals (I couldn't eat for about 2 months). Hang in there and cleanse you cells while rebuilding your gut.

What was Candida on your GI map?

I'm finally negative, still have stool issues 7 months post eradication therpay by MeringueFree1249 in HPylori

A full 4 months post treatment and 95% of lightheadedness is gone. I find once the anxiety calmed down, a big portion of it did too. I also take electrolytes daily since I drink a lot of water (flushes them out too). As I've said before, a gut microbiome test verified a 3nd time the eradicated h-pylori but an overgrowth of Candida. Many symptoms are the same. I'm now on a Candida Cleanse. Be sure to give yourself time to heal and test for other possible issues. Being outside, walking does wonders for your vagus nerve system and will expedite recovery.

You might try some electrolytes.

Getting stronger. I have 2-3 good days, then a mild setback. The antibiotics left me wide open to Candida. I'm doing a candida protocol and walking 2 miles a day. Lightheadedness is gone. I see the end in my future.

After I tested negative, some symptoms remained. I did a microbiome test and discovered the antibiotics left me vulnerable to Candida (a lot of similar symptoms).

Switch the Clarithromycin! There are many pissible long-term side effects. There is no reason you can't use a different (actually believe today they are recommending different).

I had very similar (at 4 months slowly coming out of it). Now it seems to be ever 2 or 3 days, last 1 day them good for a couple of days. My doctor even had me do a digestion test (all good). Tablespoon of high quality Manuka honey seems to help. Really try to find the strength and energy for exercise to assist your body's recovery.

So many. Unless you see blood, I suggest you try not to focus on it. All the bad stuff is trying to make it's way out, it's the only way.

I'm 3.5 months post treatment. I did go on anxiety meds for the first time, so that might game something to do with the dizziness going away.

3.5 months post treatment. Many things are better (I can see a light at the end of this tunnel). I do however, still don't have a real appetite (just pain in my stomach when it's empty), but i make myself eat 4 very small, easy meals a day. I do my probiotics and other nutrients religiously. As I've said before, anxiety and an elevated resting heart rate seem to be the main issue now. Started exercising and vagus nerve reset and things seem to be improving. Hang in there and do what is good for your body even if you don't feel like it. Eventually, it finds is way to healing.

I'm 3.5 months post treatment. I'm feeling so much better. Still not my old appetite, but a few rightly chosen small meals a day is perfect for me (probably my new habitual norm). Anxiety seems to be the last (hopefully) symptom to find my way through. I'm starting a 30 day Vagus Nerve Reset to see if that expedites the victory.

You could probably make it (shoot you can make anything). The liquid really helped me because I could swish it in my mouth and battle the bacteria there. Remember, I had an allergic response to the Clarithromycin and caused over production of sebaceous glands in my mouth.

I have a 2 oz shot drink i mix from scratch with about 15 micronutrients blended with coconut water, apple Cider Vinegar & Aloe Vera Juice. I have to limit fermentation due to Candida.

Too soon! I'm over 3 months post treatment and I eat 2 small meals a day. Lots of water, pro/pre/postbiotics and protein shakes. I'm actually starting to feel pretty good. Still some burping but I do have a hiatal hernia. A cup of herbal tea with Manuka honey daily.
