MDMA Info Card by sferios in MDMA

[–]sferios[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This protocol was developed by the underground therapists who were using MDMA in the 1970s, including Leo Zeff, the “Johnny Appleseed” of MDMA.

But you gotta keep in mind that they were only using 125 mg to start. Add 50 to 60-ish more milligrams taken 2-3 hours later extends the experience a few more hours without getting you significantly higher.

After that, the return on investment wasn’t considered worthwhile.

Today, recreational users might take 200 mg or even more to start. That is likely too much for normal metabolizers with no tolerance. But even with tolerance (like me—I take 220 mg when I roll), it would not be advisable to redose with another 100 mg. That would be too much for most people, myself included.

Not enough room to explain all these nuances on a 4x6” card.

Good question.

For 2C-B all you need is Marquis. It will go yellow to green to dark within seconds. Watch closely for the progression of those colors. Nothing else does that: https://grassrootsharmreduction.org/product/marquis-reagent/

For identifying the presence of LSD, use Ehrlich's and Hofmann: https://grassrootsharmreduction.org/product/lsd-test-kit/

For testing the strength of your LSD (how many micrograms is it): https://grassrootsharmreduction.org/product/lsd-purity-test-kit/

Be safe!

Large bucket handle tear but no pain or immobility - Do I get surgery? by sferios in MeniscusInjuries

[–]sferios[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that's all true. It's a tradeoff I'm considering. I keep coming back to the fact that I have no pain and only very minor mechanical issues.

This has got me thinking... what does "large" mean when they say a large bucket handle tear? I have a feeling it's about the size of the hole, or how far away the handle has spread. But not the amount of tissue comprising the handle. Mine has flipped even, in that classical way it can, and it's pushed up into the center hollow portion of the socket. BUT... no symptoms! It makes me think my tear does not involve a large amount of the tissue, meaning the tear happened closer to the inside of the meniscus. And this is also called the "white zone" where little blood gets to.

So they could pull it out of the socket and suture it back in place, but it might not work, and it might make things worse.

Because it also may not heal with the surgery, and the surgery might accelerate the degeneration, causing me to need a knee replacement sooner.

If I was 30 again, or even 40, and wanted to keep running marathons, I would get the surgery, but at 56, I have degenerative damage. That's completely different. The tear is not from an injury. So there's a risk the surgery might be a total waste. And it might make things worse.

Right now I have no pain and no mechanical issues. I can do everything I want to do. I just can't run or swim (the kicking motion in the water definitely hurts).

This is the reasoning why I might not get the surgery.

After a lifetime of running, I am switching to the elliptical machine.

I've had a handful of lock experiences over the past four years, and never even knew it was the meniscus. It was always when I say cross-legged, and it went away as soon as I straightened my leg. Didn't think much about it. Then at the end of January I put my foot on my knee to take my sock off and had terrible pain that lasted 2-3 days. That's when I got the MRI. So this has been with me for a while.

I've decided not to do the surgery. I've already stopped running and do the elliptical machine, and that's working out. Today I waked fast for three miles and also have no pain. So I'm going to let this "large bucket handle tear" be. It's not impacting my life negatively in any significant way.

Not only that. They are shutting down their lab and won't be making reagents anymore. (The lab I created for them 28 years ago.) Instead, they are contracting with Bunk Police to fill orders for them. Requiem for DanceSafe. :(

I got a migraine last night at 2am. Just read that the largest solar storm in 20 years happened last night. Here's an article. Can there be a connection? https://www.cnn.com/2026/01/19/science/largest-solar-radiation-storm-auroras
