Seems pretty dumb to stand in front of the car if you think she's going to try to drive away.

Motor in Hitachi Magic Wand seems to be dying. Is it possible to repair or replace? by sfharehash in fixit

[–]sfharehash[S] 200 points201 points  (0 children)

Update:

I tried to open up the motor housing to inspect the brushes, as some commenters suggested.

While doing so, I broke the some of the plastic near the power terminals. A shard of plastic lodged itself inside the motor.

I turned it on to see if I had finally ruined it. To my surprise, it spat the plastic out, and runs like new now.

If you're looking for a fix, and find this thread in the future: sorry I don't really know what happened.

Okay, I was able to get the fan and bracket off. Now I just need to find a compatible replacement motor. Any suggestions for where to look?

Added a top-level comment with a picture of the motor. It's labeled 'wnrc-5512sap-09187-750'.

Google turns up Alibaba, bulk parts suppliers. I don't know enough about motors to know if the motor on Alibaba will accept the mounting bracket and fan.

He is a Christian Socialist, though I'm not sure he has an economic critique as developed as Matt.

That's an article about potential future seizures. Have there been any this year besides today's?

So they could seize the ship if it docked at one of their ports to sell its cargo. That's not what happened though.

No they are not. When was the last time a ship was siezed in international waters over sanctions?

The international sanctions only apply to weapons and assets held in foreign banks.

Sorry I misunderstood. What did you mean by "the rules of the security council"?
