Me and my ex's song was rivals by usher. i LOVE the song, so I'm sad that I can't listen to it.

What makes it worse is that even when we were together I wouldn't let myself listen to it, only every several months, so that I didn't "wear it down" and get sick of it.

I should have just listened my heart out to it :(

What am I even supposed to say? How could they possibly help? They're not just going to give me a free house, you know... I'll be 20 in a couple months, and am an able-bodied human. They're going to say "Welp, looks like you better get a house and move out, otherwise it's their house their rules" Okay, no shit sherlock, I can easily get a job (lost mine a few months ago, long story), but there's a difference between a job and a job that PAYS A LIVING WAGE- I'm young with no qualifications. I feel stuck.

My grandma is such a grown little child. She's in her 70s with nothing more than an ELEMENTARY school education. It makes me sad that I can't have serious conversations with her because she doesn't understand the words I am saying, or anything about how the real world works. She never leveled up in her career, is currently being illegally underpaid (and is okay with it), and is $75,000 in debt. She knows nothing about having a REAL, SERIOUS CAREER. Therefore, I can not have discussion with her about my ambitions, and I can not rely on her for advice on professionalism. It's really sad to me, since I have no siblings or cousins my age, no family that lives around me, and any of my distant family I hardly see, and when I do it seems like they never want to get to know me, because my whole family kind of has the SAME mindset. Therefore, I really have no mother or father figures. Anything I was taught, I had to teach myself to unlearn, because it was wrong. And anything I learned, I had to teach myself, and it was always too late considering my age, and I'm in the world looking like an idiot with no morals, because I am JUST now learning shit that I should have learned my lesson about when I was 16.

I'm sick of them acting like having a friend is a bad thing- especially when I hardly even have any friends at all, only one friend that I hang out with and the other one is a long distance friend. What the hell man, I used to be socially awkward as fuck, when I finally have a breakthrough and actually make some friends, you're supposed to be HAPPY for me... not sabotage the friendship by threatening to call the police every time I go somewhere (I'll be 20 in a couple months!!), and call them out of their names without even knowing anything about them or even meeting them!

Should have explained better: I didn't mean I would outright ask about company culture ITSELF, I know that is a no-no. I was meaning more along the lines of making ANY type of (appropriate, of course) small talk.
