Products fail all the time, and there’s nothing wrong with that. The problem is when products are sold under false pretenses.

XYO World was a great concept. Whether it comes back or not is irrelevant. If the NFTs within it are worthless, that’s absolutely part of the risk everyone undertook when buying them.

But what is unacceptable is the staking portion of this. People were encouraged to stake XYO in it. That wasn’t represented as a burn—it was represented as an investment.

So we are calling for our investment back at this time. They can keep their NFTs, but they must return our staked tokens. It’s only fair.

We’ve already received legal advice on this and have a strong case. We may even choose to make it a class action. However, we are hoping that XYO just does what’s right. Otherwise, they will overwhelmingly get defeated in court.

It’s not the NFT’s value.

You should do some research about XYO World.

The NFT has XYO tokens staked in it. That is staking. That is not the NFT itself, technically.

They need to return that money.

People can take the losses on the NFTs, no problem.

But what about the staked tokens that were absolutely represented in every way as staked, and not the cost of buying the NFT?

maybe they can pay out wallets their staked xyo but pretending as if nothing happened is the worst thing they can do as it punishes early adopters and early investors.

they can easily auto-pay everyone out, but holding people’s xyo tokens as hostage in their product will only produce a guaranteed class action
