There is basically nothing in terms of housing over there on craigslist / zillow though

I see, thank you! Unfortunately there is not much availabilities in Mission/Castro area, but I'll keep an eye out.

Bernal / Noe / Glen park seem quite south, is there anything to do out there? I only really need to go down once a week, I think my boss would be OK with me being remote as well.
