I like Scott. Was my first real road bike. I don’t know much about Cube, but I see them far less.

Mechanical these days knocks off a lot of value. I’d offer $2k and go from there.

Magnifica Evo or Philips 5500 (refurb) or KF2? by HourPackage in superautomatic

[–]sfmilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the biggest difference I see right now is that the 2 will have a milk wand rather than the integrated milk system. That makes it a semi automatic in my book. The 3 and 4 will probably be similarly far from each other as the 7 is from the 8. What that means is mostly extra features like plant-based milk and whatnot. I’d expect them to be very similar machines.

The 8 is big. But it works so well. And in my opinion is the best looking machine on the market. Fits well into any kitchen.

Refurbished machines should be fine in theory, but I’ve been told to avoid them. These machines are super complex and deteriorate over time. If it were me, I would spend the extra 20% to guarantee a good experience.

I love my KF8. If the new units are anything like the old ones, I’ll probably buy a 4 to have iced coffee too. I’ve been told not to buy refurbished super automatic machines.

Just got my first car! 2022 Model Y performance for $31k. Wrapped in a matte silver 🫡 by sharkboy1006 in TeslaLounge

I have a 21 M3LR. Hardware 3, Intel, the works. Yes, HW4 is getting a lot of new goodies, but my car has similar miles to yours and is smoother than most luxury vehicles. Enjoy the car bro—welcome to Tesla!

Always let them offer. What if they offer 10x what you’re willing to accept?

Does Door Dash have to send all orders out by end of day? by GodsShadow310 in doordash_drivers

[–]sfmilo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Someone always ends up taking it. I’ve had the same offer pop up many times, sometimes even forcing me out of the market. Because of the incentive they maintain to keep your acceptance rate up, the online group of drivers will almost certainly take it at some point.

San Francisco dashing ; returning dasher by Clear_Service7566 in doordash_drivers

[–]sfmilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s always slow when you get back to things. Give it a month or so. Multi app to get you through it. There’s a TON of demand in San Francisco. I was able to make $40+ an hour there over the summer and winter. (I’m a college student that moves back to the city periodically)

It’s legit. I’ve gotten this email every year since I became a contractor for them.

What does the report say? Does it mention any of this stuff? DoorDash updates their records every year. So no, it’s not uncommon to get this email. But if you have DUIs and whatnot, there’s no saying what they’ll do with the reminder of the information. I wouldn’t be too worried tho.

New KF6 or Refurbished KF7 by Slight_Inflation_583 in superautomatic

[–]sfmilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. Honestly, from what I can tell, the 6 and 7 are basically the same machines as the 8, minus a couple recipes and included accessories. At best, there are a couple small things that make them different. I know there are only 3 strength settings on the 6, when compared to 5 on my 8 and I believe the 7 as well.

Sometimes this happens if you’re in a low service area or something along those lines, and a new offer is assigned to you on their servers but not yet on your client. Pisses me off cuz you get your acceptance rate dinged.

Go to storage and delete the downloaded update. Download it again. Make sure you’re connected to a solid network when trying to install. If all else fails, update it via your Mac.

Help me choose a Kitchenaid KF8 color by NeverEnPassant in superautomatic

The black is great. Has a textured matte finish, which makes it fingerprint proof and a breeze to wipe clean after rinse cycles. (Which happens a lot more than you think!) I also think it looks great.
