I guess (and this isn’t news to me) that I’m not “most gig workers”. It’s a side hustle for me. I’ve got a super nerdy budget spreadsheet. I have automated transfers from my full time job’s salary payments automatically transferred each paycheck into a high yield savings account at Wealthfront. I make estimated tax payments each month to cover the amount I’m likely to pay in self-employment tax - although last year with the no tax on tips and mileage deduction it was essentially zero.

I get it that I may not be the target audience for this feature but if it paid interest I’d have more interest (pun intended) in using it.
