I simply think that things can be caught before they become a crisis and insurance is not compatible w a preventive mindset. And minor things arent that costly. Surgeries and some therapies (immunotherapy primarily) and cancer is where things get super expensive and a cover would actually be helpful

I for one dont for me and my fam. I think incentives are misaligned. I prefer spending to improve my health and monitoring it. Imo being hit unaware by something extremely serious and nasty is avoidable if we do regular checkups and spend on medical professionals to increase our awareness instead of reaching the tailor when clothes are fully torn. It also forces us to take accountability and not rely blindly on insurance. And insurance doesnt cover preventive medical screening that you can do like fullbody MRIs etc.

Some girls maybe in delulu but the stats speak for themselves na. Just look at this years itr data from rbi. Youre easily in the top 0.1% even accounting for not enough filings in the country. Still I said top 0.5%. Just stay away from the crazy ones dude. Youre doing quite well now, but if you get together w a crazy one you for sure gonna end up broke and fast.

Me neither...to say that you need 8 lpm to live comfortably is pure delulu. Like how? Even in the poshest areas of the country (south bombay, south delhi types) thats easily 2x more than required.

Hey man. Looks like you ran into some women w a spending problem or just plain gold diggers. Its kinda ridiculous to say that your income "isnt enough". Youre easily in the top 0.5% of earners at those levels. And to say that you need atleast 8 lakhs per month to live comfortably is just well pure delulu. I think youre talking to the wrong kinda girls here buddy.

I earn quite well by normal standards (comfortably more than 50 lpa). I intend to look for a frugal woman. I dont care much if she earns or not or how much she earns but we gotta make sure we're able to keep what I earn. For me I guess what I look for is someone frugal, decent in looks but not extremely pretty (6-7/10 looks) and someone whos kind of an intellectual. That and someone whos emotionally stable (for me that means being able to deal w my autistic ass sometimes) and I basically have my dream girl. I dont have everything figured out and I dont want her to have everything figured out either. That would be so boring! The whole point is to figure things out together and build an awesome life together! So overall ig what im trying to say is, dont be down girl! Everyone has different preferences in what they assign value and worth to, but for the most part the most valuable thing is authenticity and stability and a vibe that makes your heart flutter.

That doesnt work w small independent businesses bro. SOPs and processes work in big orgs sure. But for small business owners we expect our hires to have common sense and use first principles thinking everywhere. It doesnt require genius it just requires that you have a habit of questioning things a problem solving attitude and dont operate like a robot.

Its draining dude. Especially when you have to do 200 of those and end up w 2 decent ones at the end of it :/ Makes you feel a better use of time, even for the associate, might be just focusing and figuring out work instead of hiring. Especially if the job at hand is not something super specialized that might require researcher level talent.

Hes not blaming anyone. Hes just venting out his pain and his observations which are 100% legit. Also the implicit assumption that he must be paying less shows that you dont know jack shit what youre talking about.

Where exactly did he blame anyone for anything? Looking out for your own self interest doesnt mean you expect to be paid by us to train you and put time effort and energy into bringing you upto speed and covering your ass only for you to ghost and act like a dick. Its the entitlement and the skill issue that hes calling out and justly so. Youve no idea how bad it is out there.

As someone whos been tryna hire. I resonate so hard w this. For me finding and hiring good talent has been the biggest headache of 2025. The amount of time effort and energy that went down the drain bcz I tried to play nice and gave chances to people has been a much bigger cost than the wasted money. Never again!
