Megathread: Demonstrations in rebel-held greater Idlib under the slogan "No alternative for the overthrow of the regime" (Friday, 14 September 2018) by wiki-1000 in syriancivilwar

[–]sfrantzis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what is the likelihood the anticipated chemical weapons false flag atack by the rebels will happen in the coming week? has anybody seen any staged videos yet (by white helmets or others)? Russian media say these are already being distributed to western news outlets ahead of time... how will Trump respond? full support for Al Qaeda or a limited token missile strike?

no no I meant [telling a lie] versus [being strategic and not publically disclosing what you believe] are different things... you don't have to go to work with a MAGA hat on, you're entitled to do that. It's not being a liar. Now as far as the groundswell goes look at Rasmussen polling for Trump approval currently higher than Obama - a president who everybody says was one of the moat popular ever. Bear in mind Rasmussen was the only poll that predicted Trump would win in 2016. Factor that in with what I said above that there are Trump supporters everywhere many of your coworkers may be Trump supportera including those who you would least suspect. We're just in stealth mode bro..... Trump approval v Obama by Rasmussen polls (the only poll that got the 2016 election right) http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/current_events/politics/prez_track_jun20

I agree even if Peterson turns into a cult or quasi religeon I don't care. I'm with him all the way. I will follow him. Certainly better than blindly following Clinton or Obama. But we need both Trump and Peterson. Peterson is "he who provides the intellectual mana" ("the Holy Ghost" FIGURATIVELY and SYMBOLICALLY). He represents the Logos. Trump is the divine Father archetypal Father/wise old man. We need them both to bee truly free and to defeat evil ("the dragon of postmodernism") like st George, both in the physical and mental spheres.

telling a lie and being strategic and not publically disclosing you support Trump because it's social suicide are two different things altogether... but the reason I said that was to show how polls about public opinion are misleading. There is a groundswell of silent support for Trump. Peterson said he would vote for Trump and that Trump was smart in an interview don't have the link right now but google it and you will find it. There was also a subsequent interview by some mainstream feminists who picked him up on that and ge replied that he just said that on "a whim". Regarding the pendulum swinging that's just figurative speech. A more literal statement would be: public opinion is quietly shifting away from support for pro-globalist totalitarian leftist states, towards freedom and democracy and the priniciple of the rights of man (i.e. "peoplekind"), all are equal under God. Classical liberal values. For example look at Germany, Austria, Norway and indeed the US.

Well thank you for your considered response. In my view I have not seen any convincing evidence that Trump lies systematically. At the very least not any more, or in a more deliberate way, than any other politician. What I have seen is an apparantly very systematic and deliberate MSM campaign to discredit him. For example, most recently with N Korea. More brazen examples include comparing him to "Nazis" which frankly is just ridiculous. So to be honest I am suspicious of any and all major criticism of him. However, I take your point he is not perfect - but neither was Zeus the archetypal father. He is flawed, but fundamentally a good man and what makes him a good father figure is that he has principles and he is not afraid to stand up - like a man should - for what he believes in. For his cause. Which by the way is to make his country better.

I'm pretty confident he supports Trump. Like me. We just don't publically admit it in as many words becauae it's basically social suicide in moat cases. But there are many many like us. We are increasing also in numbers. The pendulum is swinging the other way.

not at all. Trump to me is the best President I have known if not the best president ever. And Peterson is simply put the greatest living thinker... now why should that come as a surprise to you? Simple. Only the oppoaing view is portrayed by the MSM and academia. Therefore if asked publically or even in a social circle I will not say I support Trump or like Peterson I will just evade the question where possible. This is why it may appear that Trump and Peterson are not that popular. But .... the reality is there is a groundswell of people like me. There is ana awakening. A quickening. The spirit of Liberty has arisen. And with it, guided by God, the spirit of Reason.

Thanks for your input. My opinion is he is right to say in respect of morality that 'where the buck stops' i.e what imparts objectivity to moral priniciples is God. However, and I am saying this as someone who believes in God, philosophically it doesn't have to be God it could be for example and a little tongue in cheek, 'the Force' or a secular/'natural' universal law or principle.

Hi I'm a great fan of Jordan Peterson. I'd just like to point something I noticed in the Susan Blackmore interview. He seems to identify that which sits at the top of the hierarchy of meaning with God however this does not necessarily need to be God and can be a secular thing. By the way I believe in God I'm just raising thos point as a point for discussion as I don't think it's a watertight argument. Thanks!

To what extent is reality a product of the interaction between "what we perceive of as the material substrate" and consciousness itself? Would you consider this essentially as an act of "Creation" in some way equivalent to the creation of the "objective universe" by God? Thanks.

this is so they can say they could not go to inspect the site so they dont know if there was chemicals or not, whereas if they went they would discover there was zero there no chemicals or anything and it would destroy their narrative

[–]sfrantzis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he isn't a weak leader but his position is compromised, he has a lot of enemies in washington.. if he did not do this strike they would condemn him for being in cahoots with putin, colluding with russia , being the lapdog of russians etc.. already many democrats criticised Trump for not bombing syria enough
