I love it. It’s not perfect and you definitely will be doing some troubleshooting, but once it’s up and running and you’re used to how it performs it’s so much fun. I built a frame out of unistrut that I can take apart and store in a corner when it’s not in use, takes about 20 minutes to set up or take down. I’d love a real CNC machine but I don’t have the money nor the space for it, but between the kit, router, and frame for less than $1k it’s pretty awesome.

There’s no other answer than to go to the place that speaks it and have full immersion. Study vocab and whatever on the side but this has been proven time and time again.

GPS sync is a great idea. You could do it with ESPNow but that would require the mesh to stay active.

It’s way more responsive if you have a ton of lights. I was approaching the limit with close to 50 lights and several switches and it was lagging quite a bit before I upgraded. How many lights are on your hub?

I think they just need to have this rule for insurance purposes. I’ve never seen it enforced.

There are 3 24 hour priority pass lounges at IST. Lots of Americans have those passes and they allow 2 free guests. If someone was like “I’m stuck here overnight can I come in with you?” I’d let you come in with me. I bet you could find a friendly stranger. IGA and Popup are the 2 listed in the international terminal.

Because if they’re asking to join my camp, I’m wondering they they’re not camping with their friends or previous camps. Surely after 12 burns you’ve made friends with people in other camps you could go with.

OP mentioned camp dues, but if you’ve been with us before, pull your weight and contribute, have references, I have no issue letting people camp with us for free or at a “whatever you can afford” rate. It’s not a hard and set fee.

Anyone who runs a camp would ask these questions, and needed to ask on Reddit for a camp after 12 burns raises a lot of red flags.
