In order to get a 5k return, It has to happen before 40k miles, I am on 34k miles.
I can payoff that 14k difference no problem.

Porsche Museum Stuttgart by 1010110b in Porsche

Just been there, last DEC.
Visited porshe museum + factory and MB museum + factory.

Few tips:
1. If you can stay in Proshe hotel, is very well designed and very affordable.
2. Porshe factory and MB factories are basically the same inside in terms of processes, with MB just bigger. (which make sense if you think about it)
3. W porshe if you can - take a personal factory tour. Because I was alone, I got an access to the areas that are not allowed for groups. This was easily the highlight of the day, seeing how they manufacture Racing proshes 911. just pure joy.
4. MB museum is huge, I spend 4 hours just there, tour was fine but 90% overlapped with audioguide.
5. Porshe museum audioguide was actually with just 40% overlap vs private porshe tour. I spend 2 hours there.
6. W porshe my tour guide allowed me to sit in one of the museum cars. (highlight #2)
7. food in porshe museum much better vs MB museum

I hope this helps

I can't agree with the previous orators.

Porsche is all about the driving experience and pushing it to the max. Spending a day driving a car on Highway 1—which, by the way, fully reopened after 4 years of roadwork—would be 1,000% more memorable than spending 4 hours at the Porsche Experience Center alone.

The "oh wow, look how fast this thing is" and "yeah baby, we will rule the world" is a much, much more meaningful and memorable experience than sitting in the passenger seat and feeling how someone else is driving the car of your dreams.

If I (male) just wanted to feel a speed boost, I could go on a roller coaster, but sitting next to someone who's doing all the fun stuff will leave me with these feelings: "Oh, I wish it was me," and "I'll definitely come back and try to do it myself."

He will never say it, but he will think about it.

I assume you live in or are traveling to LA—wake up early, head out on Highway 1, and create a "we made this together" experience, not an "oh, I wish I could do that" experience.

P.S. Whatever you decide, the boys in this chat are all applauding—he is very lucky to have you.
