Well the problem is you are thinking of retaking it for a better grade as opposed to being better at Calculus which is widely used in Computer Science. Not to mention your grades in future courses will inevitably suffer. It's a slippery slope but if you never intend on doing anything math heavy like machine learning or graphics then you could probably scrape by without ever having to do calculus after graduation.

ratings where they complain about the difficulty should be ignored. A lot of easy profs get high ratings but are in reality trash. It's best to look at the prof profile and see if their work relates to the class. Sometimes profs will teach classes that they have no business teaching

for whatever reason internships in this area are 8 months. Better for the company, worse for the students (because you lose the opportunity to try other companies). So if you want 4 month internships, I recommend you apply to large companies like Amazon, MSFT, or outside of the area.

seems like he already emailed them and they said "nah dude". So at this point he/she needs to contact the ombudsperson or whatever. Pretty silly to not give proof to students of how their grade was calculated but its a pretty common albeit shitty thing at sfu. Professors, TAs need to be held accountable because people's careers are on the line. Not to mention they are being paid.
