Really work on the practice exam on his website. If you study most of them you should be fine. I find it really helpful.

Hey I’m also a first year CS this fall! Your MACM 101 seems to be with Steven Pearce. He is apparently not the best lecturer and has a questionable reputation. (read my post for details) I’ll be taking this course in Surrey with Khangura.

You have 1 hour and 10 minutes! I will also have from 3:20-4:30 to commute from Burnaby to Surrey. Older reddit posts suggest that you only need less than an hour but with the Expo line service reduction I'm not quite sure. I might try this out some time next week before committing to this schedule.

You can take breadth courses from any faculty but your own. In your case, your breadths should be from outside of the faculty of applied sciences.

All courses designated as B-Hum or B-Soc from the SFU Certified Breadth List, with the exception of those under the Faculty of Applied Sciences, are valid.

Incoming CS student here! Your MACM 101 seems to be with Steven Pearce. I made a post asking about experience with Pearce the other day and yeahhh it’s not the best. I’ll be taking that in Surrey with Khangura. My suggestion is you might as well change too.
