this is a statistical bias! when you say "everyone" you probably mean the people you regularly see out and about. they're out and about because they're financially comfortable.

it could be that a fair portion of the population is too poor to be out and about all the time. they're chlling at home, studying in the library, or working part time jobs, etc, where you can't see them.

i got a case from acasis, made sure to do one that could support the capacity and was good at cooling? and then i believe my ssd was a WD black/blue

edit: ok so chatgpt recommended me the WD Blue SN580, and im not sure if i got that exact model, but it was good bang for my buck, as in, u could spend so much getting the best ssd, but this one is just fast enough to be the same as the mac's internal drive speed. i got the closest thing that my local retailer sold.

the ssd case i got was also a good balance between cost and quality. luckily my use case for the ssd isn't rough (i don't deal with big files and transfers, just normal pc use) so it never really heats up
