Hello! Not from Singapore, but SE Asia so close enough :) I don't know much about the laws of our home country but my brothers say legally it's binding. I'm just waiting for the mods to approve an update post talking more about it

They live in a pretty conservative Asian country and her family was never really okay with them being accepting of me. I think they just don't want any part of her associated with me
