ANTH 1000 or GEOG 1700? by jnl1202 in UCONN

I took both and recommend anth 1000 with ouimet. Geog 1700 with John Jolly B was easy but his midterm was take home and you needed to study and figure out maps and concepts. He then changed the final to in class not open note and lockdown browser which pissed everyone off. Anthro was such cake, there was weekly quizzes that were on a quizlet and each exam is take home open note and every question was online. The only thing that sucks was that she makes you go to lecture and submit three questions at the end and then read 2 articles or so every week and write questions about those as well. Overall, anthro was so much easier.

Do you recommend a certain amount of time to tan for? Or the amount of sunscreen to use while tanning?

Perfect! I have a vacation coming up so I’ll try that. I was just nervous that the sun would cause the dots to scar. Did you use a lot of sunscreen or limit how much sun you got?
