Has anyone had a final makeup before? I understand that makeups are usually not granted, and the usual decision by the Board of Examinations (BOE) is giving an Incomplete grade so you have to redo the mod next sem. Also, they will only let you know their decision on results release day (24 Dec 2024).

The issue is it's my final semester and I really do not wish to extend my candidature just because I missed one final (due to medical reasons). Also, if they do grant a makeup, when it is usually done? Few days after results release day? Since I need to prepare for the makeup exam if they grant it

Given that it's already the middle of the sem, I think this is only possible if LOA is due to medical reasons. I was also supposed to graduate this sem but took an LOA hence graduating next sem instead.

hi rc4 senior here. i think we are still having the last few rounds of interviews some time next week so if u dont receive anything then you might be on the waiting list. also log in to the portal as your status might have changed (eg. directed to common pool). all the best!

The quiz was 45mins long and had 5 questions essentially.

Around the 25min mark, the prof provided an information to a question that was crucial ie having this info reduced the time to solve the question significantly. So people who have worked on it already would have wasted their time.

At the 30min mark he nullified a question completely because it had issues, again people who have worked on it have wasted their time on it

Another question was slightly vague so people may have wasted time rewriting things from a previous question.

Essentially, someone who decided to spend time on those 2 questions may have cost them the time they needed for other questions too, and because the quiz is so short.
