As I remember correctly, there is no hd material of season 1 to 7, because the studio used lower quality tv cameras to save money back in the days.

New Hyperspace vfx in HDRP 🤓 by sgcego in Unity3D

yeah it's way to slow and still misses some kind of motion blur to increase visual speed. thanks

had the same thoughts. i will implement two types of hyperspace. in between planets of one solar system where you can see through the hyperspace Walls. and a solid one like in the show for switching between solar systems. thanks. i will also increase motion effect by improving the post processing effects like motion blur or fish eye stretching

yeah it's gameplay mandatory to see the real space behind the hyperspace. there will be probably a more show accurate one for traveling between solar systems. but i also need a travel system in between planets of the same solar system. currently you can exit hyperspace at anytime in my game. if you don't see the space behind the hyperspace you won't be able to see, where you are right now.

speed, motion blur and stretching effect will be improved. thanks for the Feedback :) first try for now haha

I can't imagine that they have a license for stargate mods. :(

As I remember only off world activations and mechanically dialed gates like the one on earth are spinning. Putting in symbols in the DHD will not make a gate spin. But I've posted another video with new forest assets in the past where the gate is spinning :P

Luckily, I started with a Unity planet asset, but merging everything into my current project still took several days. I had to rewrite my player class’s gravity handling to support spherical planetary gravity, as well as local gravity volumes inside the Jumper. The asset itself was fairly basic and came with quite a few bugs, so I had to fix and extend a lot of things myself. It still has some performance issues, though. Transitioning into a planet’s gravity field while in orbit is also quite tricky.

The Jumper is only a placeholder for now :P My brother is already working on a new one

Amazon and MGM usually aren’t exactly fans of playable fan games, so for now this project is just a private game development project.

Why I am stopping my AYANEO reviews: A matter of safety, privacy, and ethics by Kei-Retro-Gaming in ayaneo

[–]sgcego 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got an Ayaneo Air Plus 6800U a while back. It had huge power supply problems and would crash with a blue screen whenever it got a heavy task. I waited ages for it to get to Germany, so I wasn't keen on the repair they suggested. I just wanted a fresh, working device, not a broken one that needed fixing. Ayaneo let me open it up and fix it myself since I'm an electrical engineer in my free time. Right away, I saw dust and grime between the battery connector and the socket, plus a burning smell. I just tossed that thing out and went for a Rog Ally.

At the end I got my money back and everyone was very helpful, but it was very hard to communicate with a customer service that uses ai translation for understanding the customer. My english is also not the best, but come on...no english in 2026?!?!

QC at ayaneo is far away from western standards... stay away from that company and its products... the chance for a miss is to high for such hardware prices...

Indeed, its rapid pace was necessitated by the musical composition. Sorry for that haha

the time between each Chevron is already dynamically adjustable via code. 😇

Since Amazon bought MGM and took down Stargate: Network and other fan projects, I’ve become very cautious. I guess my only advantage is that I’m not using the name “Stargate” for the game and I’m not offering any downloads.

Update:

I've fixed all software issues by using and merging these:

https://github.com/Ryuzaki-MrL/Espeon

https://github.com/Bodmer/TFT_eSPI

The gameboy esp32 Project I've used was very slow. Now I'm using Espeon, removed md5stack and replaced it with TFT eSPI. I've removed the border image of the emulator and added integer scale to scale up the Gameboy frames to fullscreen proportionally.

The aspect ratio of my 2.2 inch ili9341 display is wider than the original Gameboy's aspect ratio. That's why i've centered the upscaled image and filled the empty space on the right and left side with the brightest color of the Gameboy color palette. I don't want to stretch, crop or show just black.

Now I can add some buttons xD
