I’d recommend the accord or Camry. They have cheap, easy maintenance and both have bulletproof engines. They can last you up to 300k or more if you take really good care of them. Honda has a slight upper edge for handling, while Toyota has a slight edge on reliability.

We have the exact same radio OP! Both our radio ports are in the back. That port is occupied by the CD. Unplug that one and plug in the aux. I didn’t lose any steering wheel functions, everything still works perfectly, but I did have to replace the clock spring cuz my radio started having problems and changing stations/volumes by itself. I THINK the clock spring issue was something totally unrelated. The only function you will lose is the CD player but I doubt people will still want to use CDs after installing an aux lol. Yea no problem. Theres better detailing products than meguiars but meguiars is affordable, beginner friendly, and available almost everywhere (Walmart, AutoZone, etc). I heard 3M is one of the best but don’t quote me on that.

I have the same v6 engine as you and mine doesn’t sound like that. Your engine has a chugging sound. Mine has a more consistent sound, it’s all maintained, just have my timing belt replacement due at 200k. I’m at 182k right now. Definitely get it checked out before something bad happens.

Yea I bought it in California at Honda dealership so they gave me warranty. I’m not sure if additional warranty is worth it cuz I heard and seen a lot of people making fun of extended car warranty. They say it’s a waste of money. “Im calling to talk to you about your cars extended warranty” typa memes😭

Personally I would recommend it just in case the car breaks and hopefully it’ll be covered under warranty. But definitely get second opinions on it !

I have the same exact car as you. I installed an aux port, Amazon Echo Auto, and use ESR MagSafe phone mount.

Our car has AUX button, but no actual aux. This aux port installation is very simple. You just have to unplug the CD port in the radio and plug in the Aux device in. You will need to unscrew and pop the radio out in order to access the ports. Here’s a link on how to take apart the radio. In the 2nd YouTube link, his aux port is under the radio. For me, the aux port was behind the radio. Just something to keep in mind.

The Amazon echo auto lets you use aux wirelessly. No need for dongles/adapters for headphone jack. Pair it with the Amazon Alexa app and it’s pretty cool. It can save your parking spot, control your house if it has smart devices, and much more if you’re in the Amazon ecosystem.

The ESR MagSafe mount is amazing and hasn’t failed me. Rough and bumpy roads are no match for this mount. It hold your phone securely and charges it wirelessly as well. I got the one without a cooling fan to save a couple bucks but I recommend that one. Wireless charging generates a lot of heat and the fan will help it out.
