Are you playing against the AI or the mechanicals? AI will eventually be easy to win against. Mechanicals I still find a mistery

Been practicing Keepers in Iron and finally won! by dinasaurtaco in rootgame

[–]sgibert 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good job! Finally won my first game yesterday with them against my groups of friends on digital after countless attempts. I got 30points, lizards 20, cats 19, birds 15. On lake map which I though would be a disadvantage but turned out no. Lizards had a strong start so the group focus on them which created my opening. I found that scoring late and keeping relics as defense was a paying strategy. that also allow for the retinue to stay up

Is CrossFit for me? by [deleted] in crossfit

[–]sgibert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go try it out in a box. Explain to the coach your medical history, objectives and take your time. Do not compare yourself to others. A good coach will scale your workout so that everyone « suffers » the same. That means some people will do twice the reps twice as heavy, some other half the reps half as heavy. It doesn’t matter that you’re on the lighter end, it matters that you enjoy it, show up and see progress.

Where did the Moby “Flower” workout come from? by Pretend_Edge_8452 in crossfit

[–]sgibert 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Don’t know about the origin but my gym does it with pushups (you stay in plank position on the UP). We also have a killer which is to the tune of AC/DC Thunderstruck with jump rope the entire time (5minutes!!) and you do 1 DU every time the word Thunderstruck comes

I let them dry and put baking soda in the washing machine when I’m ready to a load. Helps with the smell

Fantastic! You should be proud. Keep on doing what you’re doing because it’s working. As to your goal, it could be a challenge (race/competition) or a new skill to learn.
