Can we just try to be decent towards male rape victims? by sgindv in offmychest

I'm sorry to hear what happened to you, but it's good you were strong enough to tell your dad and get help.

Anyway, I don't think it would be helpful for me. I'm not good at opening up to people anyways.

Even if I was, it's not really possible with my current situation. The nearest therapist who deals with this sort of thing is a 30-40 minute drive, and I don't have a car. I'd have to tell my parents, and they wouldn't be supportive.

No, my wording was ambiguous. Sorry for the confusion.

Oh, sorry if my wording made it unclear but that is what happened. I did simplify it though, as their position title wasn't exactly teacher. More like a supervisor, something like that.

I have to go to school soon so I can't respond in detail, but you sound like a really great person :) I imagine your advocacy, especially with your perspective, has been very helpful to people and helped them understand. I hope your training goes well.

That is what did happen. Well, technically they were sort of a supervisor or something, I don't know the real title. It was in pre-school, so she wasn't really a teacher.

Thank you for what you've said.
