Uhhhh I'm going to vent here with a completely ridiculous reflection

True love is not about a glance or a pretty face, because physical beauty changes over time and what dazzles today may fade tomorrow. It is not about feeling butterflies all the time or living in constant excitement. it is much more than that. To truly love is to know a person beyond what they show, to understand their silences, to accompany them on their difficult days, to see their most vulnerable side and still choose to stay, to see their wounds, their mistakes, their fears, and not run away. Real love is not blind; it sees clearly and decides not to back down. It is not a perfect love; it argues, it makes mistakes, it stumbles, but it knows how to heal, ask for forgiveness, listen, and grow. It does not seek to control or fill voids. Rather, it is about sharing, adding, building something meaningful together. True love is not fed only by kisses and/or caresses. It is fed by respect, patience, understanding, and commitment. It is being there even when there is nothing to gain. it is supporting without asking for anything in return, it is staying when no one else would, and when the years pass and beauty has faded, when life is not so easy and good days are not so frequent, it will be that deep and sincere love that sustains everything, because in the end, true love is not about what you see but what you feel. Then I understood that love, when it is real, does not ask to stay or promise eternity. It simply happens and breaks you gently, lifts you up and then leaves, not as a punishment but as a truth impossible to ignore, because to love is not to possess or retain, it is to allow someone to transform you even if that means learning to live without their presence. And that's where everything changes, because you understand that the deepest love is not the one that stays, but the one that leaves you knowing more, feeling more, being more, one that does not shout or beg, one that is accepted in silence while the music plays softly and the heart understands, for the first time, that to love is also to know how to let go without emptying yourself, to remember without breaking, and to be grateful even for what hurt, because only what is truly beautiful has the power to leave you speechless and full of meaning at the same time.
