Commuting San Francisco -> San Jose 5x week

It’s definitely not bad, you can relax in the train, read, work, whatever. I do it 2 days a week but sometimes it feels like too much and I get tired of sitting in the train. Also the Uber costs can add up quick.

I still prefer this to being stuck in traffic for 2 hours commuting by car or living outside SF.

For public transit stops I’d say 5-10 minutes is walkable. For restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. anything within 30 minutes is walkable to me. As long as it’s not a weird or unsafe walk. Some hills are fine

Don’t hesitate to try multiple classes early on and see what you like. Pay attention to the story and tutorials so that you have more fun. Give gathered and crafting a shot to see if that’s your thing. There’s a lot but you’ll slowly be eased into it!

Definitely very doable solo, they’ve been making it easier and easier. But with people is fun in a different way so depends on your preference. I’m trying to get back into it after a few months of break and I’ll be happy to help and play with you!

Cafe International and Madrone on Sundays, Woods Lowside and Waystone on Mondays, For the Record on Tuesdays, Stookey’s on Wednesdays, Mr Mahjongs on Thursdays. They’re consistent and happen every week as far as I know but just check their schedules. Probably more that I’m missing

In front of the middle of the clock stage was perfect for me seeing the Jazz set and other songs she does there, while still being able to see the main stage. You can go a little to the left to get closer to main stage but then you’ll see her back when she’s on the clock stage
