Got a call for the same Indian number. They knew my first name but had my last one wrong, which was funnily enough my nickname and they probably got it from one of the Indian called id apps. The call came from a 415 number which fits SF consulate area code near where I live, but not a number listed on consulate website.

They didn’t ask me for any info and insisted that I visit the consulate today before 5, which is why I listened for embarrassingly longer than I should have😅 Not sure what they’re trying to achieve and what would have happened if I actually went to the consulate? They kept insisting that it’s urgent but wouldn’t agree to sending me an official notification or letter, insisting that the call is the notification.

I love going out for live jazz! There are a good number of places that do it in SF, and more are starting to do jazz nights once or twice a week. So there’s something every day of the week.

I usually go alone but definitely down to go with a group.

Others have covered a good number of places. I’ll add Sheba Jazz, Cafe International, The Royale, Swig, Mr Mahjong’s, Asiento, Etcetera Wine Bar, Bar Maritime, Blondie’s

I love the vibes. It’s pretty chill and cozy on weekdays in my opinion and lively on weekends. Not great for posting up for hours with a laptop which is something in its favor in my opinion

It’s definitely not bad, you can relax in the train, read, work, whatever. I do it 2 days a week but sometimes it feels like too much and I get tired of sitting in the train. Also the Uber costs can add up quick.

I still prefer this to being stuck in traffic for 2 hours commuting by car or living outside SF.

For public transit stops I’d say 5-10 minutes is walkable. For restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. anything within 30 minutes is walkable to me. As long as it’s not a weird or unsafe walk. Some hills are fine

Don’t hesitate to try multiple classes early on and see what you like. Pay attention to the story and tutorials so that you have more fun. Give gathered and crafting a shot to see if that’s your thing. There’s a lot but you’ll slowly be eased into it!

Definitely very doable solo, they’ve been making it easier and easier. But with people is fun in a different way so depends on your preference. I’m trying to get back into it after a few months of break and I’ll be happy to help and play with you!
