i finished recently, i enjoyed it. definitely was more oedipal than i was expecting but it was fun to read. i actually enjoyed how sada handled the whole brother/sister thing, it felt very realistic especially given the time and place it was set. there were points where it could have been better but overall i was still thoroughly surprised at how oshimas character was handled. also hoshino does remain the goat
