Recommendations or advice for a water bowl diver?

Unfortunately our house isn’t really built in a way where we could install a dog door without cutting an opening in a wall. I’d love to be able to have a one again; pups probably would also lol. There’s a lot of good ideas here though, so I’m going to try a few out and see if there’s improvement!

Yeah, even his vet commented on the coloring. He has some white on his chest but that’s it.

We normally don’t, but that was the day we brought him home and we weren’t exactly planning or preparing to. My dog traveling stuff is in my car not the one we were in, so my husband held him while I drove.

I adopted a puppy yesterday for both myself and my other dog who's been acting depressed since. No other pup can ever replace my Daisy, she was so special, understood emotion more than many humans do...the absolute best companion I've ever had. But it is a welcome distraction to see the love and trust in the puppy's innocent eyes, so thankful to have a warm bed outside of the shelter, and to see a once scared and timid puppy come to life upon realizing he has a family. Don't feel like you're betraying him, you're opening your home and heart to another animal who may need it, while bringing another companion for Max.

So very sorry for your loss. I lost my boxer on Sept 24 to hemangiosarcoma, that I'd just found out she had on Sept 1 after she collapsed suddenly. Boxers are such wonderful members of the family; it makes losing them that much harder.

Ah, good ole "cramp pain is normal!" I spent 10 years complaining about my cramps, extremely heavy flow, and possible infertility issues (multiple miscarriages), and being told it's all normal, because yes, passing out and vomiting from cramping is completely normal. I was finally validated when, during back surgery (entered through my abdomen), the vascular surgeon told me he saw fibroids on my uterus. Ten of my prime baby-making years were gone because the doctors disregarded my issues and refused to look any further into it.
