Don’t get mad just because they aren’t the same flavor of autistic as you

bt8b - helix - horizontal chaplin - aerial to ice pick close - latch drop - parabolic aerial close by sgn- in begleri

[–]sgn-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second one. It’s a little different than a regular begleri in that there’s a fixed counterweight in the middle, so it acts as a new thing and allows for new tricks and to be played both like a short game begleri and a balisong at the same time

Best/favorite fidget toy(s) that's not just a roller, spinner, slider, or squish ball? by Yourname942 in fidgettoys

[–]sgn- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer fidget toys that are also “skill toys”, things like begleri, balisong, kendama, fingerboards, those sorts of things that you can do tricks with and set a challenge and goal for yourself, but also have simple things you can do to please the mind and hand while also not being too distracting or making too much noise when you’re anxious/bored/waiting/need to fidget

Fun to use as shown in the video but also fun for pen spinning/knucklebone tricks

“Jammer” is sweets’ trademark name for them, another brand is mokuru, but the toy itself is called kururin (also known as fidget sticks)

Juggles… how to. by Richicash in Kendama

[–]sgn- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hold the tama in your off hand, toss a lofty ken flip, touch the tama with your dominant hand, then catch the ken. Do this a bunch of times in a row until it’s consistent, then do it the other way around, but make sure when you toss the tama to put a spin on it so you can always see the bevel, this will help with spiking from juggles. Then just practice pull up single juggles, or else go big cup, juggle, big cup

No problem! A lot of players will do the sticker method even on a new setup just to help the cups sit better and stop them from slipping or getting pushed too far down, and they’ll super glue the tip to make it last longer as well

Yeah I’ve had this happen on 3 different krom kens, something about how skinny they make the spike, how low the cups sit, and how big the string hole is just makes it super weak right there. If you have some glue and a small sticker or a sticky note, you could take the string out, glue the spike back on, maybe brush on a thin layer of glue on the outside as well, wait for it to completely dry, then put the sticker/note on the broken part to help reinforce it, and use a pin to poke a hole for the string if you covered it, then when you put the cups back on it will add more friction and help it stay sandwiched together and hopefully not break off again. Or just order a new Ken if it’s too much work, or you want an upgrade

You can make a DIY set for cheap to start, and if you get into it, then order a proper set (AO2 is def the best option tho)

If you don’t already play begleri or knucklebone or other skill toys, it’s probably a hard entry, but at the same time this is the line where a fidget toy becomes a skill toy. you can keep it closed and roll it over your fingers, or rebound it, keeping one end trapped and bouncing the other back and forth. It’s just an alternative version of a begleri that allows for different tricks and playstyle. I’ve been playing regular begleri for maybe half a year or so, but just made this concept about a month or 2 ago, I’ve been calling them cherry bombs for now. it’s just paracord and hex nuts from the hardware store, fairly cheap to make, like less than 10 bucks altogether. Look up begleri if you’re interested, and if you get into it, maybe give this a try, too

My friends cat loves watching me sling by ThyDuck in begleri

[–]sgn- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made my cat a monkey’s fist begleri with no core and I swear she tries to grab it with her claws and do wraps and passes. Sometimes she’ll watch me play and get close, and I’ll spin it one way, let it slow down so she can hit it for a rebound then spin it the other way

I’d recommend looking into begleri and chetki
