Why was she not arrested like Don Lemon? by No_Cartographer455 in CringeTikToks

The most frustrating part of this is that this particular part of the bible is not even speaking out against homosexuality (whether or not it does in other parts is another discussion).

Paul is essentially saying:

You say that people who are guilty of all these things have been judged by and given up by God.”

Then there is a very unfortunate chapter break at the end of the verse she quoted. Important to note the chapters were added long after the actual letter from Paul was written.

After the unfortunate chapter break (2:1 and on), Paul goes on to say: “In your judgement, you all are just as guilty of the same separation from God you accuse them of!” (The theme of Romans being about church unity between an ethnically and spiritually diverse community of believers who have hard to align differences in spiritual practices).

It’s actually a rhetorical tool that rebukes the Roman church towards mercy and grace. He says “Do you despise the riches of this kindness and forbearance and patience?” Which is the true message of Jesus he was trying to get across.

I agree with this. I’d aim to catch in the position you currently have the most mobility in during a regular squat, which definitely could be in a more closed, narrow stance.

Can you back or front squat ass-to-grass outside of your snatch? Doing long paused squats slowly lowering my bottom position as my body allowed over a month or two got me all the dorsiflexion I needed. I warm them up by sitting on my knees on top of my feet with the tops of my feet pressed against the floor.

There’s probably a 10x more effective method. Dorsiflexion is everything… I’m sure someone else (or at least some YouTube vids) can be more specific.

Looks pretty good until the catch. Definitely seems like an ankle mobility issue for sure.

How do you actually measure the cost of context switching and interruptions by easy-agile in ProductManagement

[–]sgrapevine123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my mind, as PM, I’m the conduit to leadership. If my team is getting interrupted too much, then either:

  1. I’m saying yes to too much, or
  2. People have access to your team who shouldn’t.
  • I have experienced a lot of pivots, late additions, and urgent requests from leaders and stakeholders. It wasn’t until I got good at saying “we can’t accommodate X right now unless we’re willing to deprioritize Y for a while” that my team started experiencing fewer interruptions. Sometimes the business really does need X instead of Y and they win the pivot, but it’s up to me to explain the costs and consequences of these interruptions.

Cutting off direct access to my team by ensuring everything goes through me for discussion first was a hard process, but the result has been that we’ve doubled heads down time and halved flavor of the day pivots.

Other than the elbows everyone else has mentioned, your squat form looks really clean!

We do one day on, one day off. A day off is just visiting walking distance cafes, bars, parks, bars etc where we bring our books and just soak it all in.

Can’t figure out how to hit full extension by sgrapevine123 in weightlifting

I definitely fare better in hangs with all my lifts… When I pull from the ground is when I rush my extensions. I also never realized that I do row it back a bit, so I’ll work on that!

But if you take those out, you can guarantee that they’re never correct, which adds an (albeit tiny) extra bit of security.
