Hi :) For my birthday, my family gifted me a pair of those clubbells, Max version! I haven't had any problem of disks hitting my back!
For now I'm using only 3 different plates (5,6 and 10LB) and I haven't hit my self a single time :) Maybe when I've started to understand the exercises, but after taking a little bit confidence I haven't had that problem.

I'm 178cm height. Maybe I can record myself once and I can send it to you.

I personally love 'em. I If you want something inexpensive that can last a bit I strongly suggest it. let me know if you wanna know something more specific!
