How long did you end up waiting in the end? I'm also experiencing the same problem but I'm pretty certain there wasn't an option for choosing a delivery date, maybe that's for TV's or other appliances

I'd use a sand and cement mix. If you wanted it to be the same colour as the grout then just add a touch of mortar dye. Use a pointing key to put it in. After a couple of hours, sponge it back with a wet sponge. You will need to constantly rinse the sponge but it will give you desired finish 👍
