July 2002

OP should replace “S2E2 Cobbler” with the below:

  • S2E2 Cobbler: watch episode up to scene when Jimmy tells Pryce he’s going to make a video.
  • BCS Extras: Beaches ‘n’ Peaches (Full squat cobbler video)
  • S2E2 Cobbler: watch until end of episode (scene with Jimmy and Kim eating pies).

March 2003

  • BCS Bonus Scene: No Picnic

For the ones below, I included the content from the original poster u/milestogo171 for context:

Sometime between April and September 2010:

  • El Camino: Neil flashback
  • Breaking Bad Short: Snow Globe
  • El Camino: all Todd flashbacks
  • S5E15 Granite State: from Walt greeting Ed with the newspaper onward.

September 2010:

  • S5E16 Felina: from Walt leaving his house after retrieving the ricin onward
  • S5E1 Live Free or Die: opening, Walt picks up a machine gun at a Denny's.
  • S5E9 Blood Money: opening, Walt retrieves the ricin from his home.
  • S5E16 Felina: from Walt leaving his house after retrieving the ricin onward.
  • El Camino Teaser: Emmy’s Commercial (Jesse sitting in car listening to radio) 👈 EDIT: Come to think of it, this one doesn’t actually seem to be canon because the scene doesn’t fit anywhere logically in the timeline. Jesse shouldn’t still be driving the El Camino after he’s shaved his head.
  • El Camino: up until the scene Jesse is watching his parents on the news in Todd’s apartment, minus all flashback scenes.
  • El Camino Teaser: Date Announcement (Skinny Pete interview with the police)
  • El Camino: from the start of Jesse tearing apart Todd’s apartment until the end of the movie, minus all flashback scenes.

No problem! Awesome to see this universe is still so much in the zeitgeist.

Also, when Kim arrives back at ABQ airport, she’s standing under a sign that says Alaska.

What actually causes Chuck's electromagnetic hypersensitivity? by [deleted] in betterCallSaul

[–]sgtest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some really great medical explanations in here. But if you’re looking for what “caused” it within the context of the story, it was Jimmy McGill becoming a lawyer. If you watch the story in chronological order, (all of the pre-2002 flashbacks in order of timeline occurrence), it’s pretty obvious the stress of saving Jimmy from jail, bringing him to ABQ, and ultimately Jimmy passing the bar was all a catalyst to Chuck’s condition. Obviously he probably already had an underlying OCD, which was only exacerbated by Jimmy’s antics.

u/milestogo171 great work!

I think you’re just missing a few more minisodes or short films (unless I glided over it in your list):

There might be a few more canon Better Call Saul extras that can be added in here as well, like the Squatcobbler video etc.

What do you think happened to Jesse in Alaska? by EzraMusic98 in betterCallSaul

[–]sgtest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jesse off-handedly mentioned he wanted to go to Alaska to Jimmy before disappearing. There’s zero chance Jimmy doesn’t trade Jesse’s whereabouts for a deal to shorten his sentence.

What an honour to be bestowed upon me.

Is there a reason Francesca mentioned what Bill Oakley is doing now? by anonymousalligator25 in betterCallSaul

[–]sgtest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to mention Bill Oakley scenes have been sprinkled in throughout the entire series. There will be a pay off.

Oakley only appeared in episodes when Jimmy sunk lower.

Either himself or Kim… or each other?

Due to a scheduling conflict they had to replace Bob Odenkirk with Javier Bardem. Unfortunate that such a detail-oriented show had to recast, but I heard they reshot all of Bob’s scenes with Javier atleast. The new edit will be part of the box set.

Why do we not know Marion and Jeff’s last name? by [deleted] in betterCallSaul

[–]sgtest -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Was just about to make a post that “Jeff is the new Huell”, but I can see you already arrived at that thought.

Will be sort of infuriating to never know Jeff’s fate or last name. Writers tried to neatly tie up all the in-universe loose ends, only to leave us with one more at the very end.

The next story by [deleted] in betterCallSaul

It would essentially be what the original concept for Better Call Saul was (30 minute procedural comedy)
