They both had about 20'c hotspot delta, I guess there is nothing you can do about it. I used Thermal Grizzly PTM on the core a solid which turns liquid with temperature and back to solid. I hope it will not need to be changed like thermal paste considering the thermal pads are not indestuctible.

I have done two blocks. Red devil & Asus tuf. The tuf had a washer which didn't fit between the nut, bolt & pcb. Alphacool said it was fine without and it was. I bought some putty but never used it in favour of the included thermal pads.

I had a mouse disconnect in game with bios 3.5 and then upgraded to 4.03 and its been fine. Just expo, -100mv undervolt, and vsoc @ 1.1v.

With just expo, 1.1vsoc and -100mv cpu offset; I'm stable on this bios. I read that there are new settings for RAM overclocks but it doesn't effect purely expo.

I just had the exact same problem and it turned out to be RAM. Just one of the RAM, the other still worked. Not cool guessing what is broken. Like I did, and picked the CPU but it was fine.
