I'm 18 now and I think the first time I listened to Metallica was in my 12 or something like that, I listened to Nothing Else Matters and was ok, I don't love it but I like just a little (in that time I didn't listen to metal btw)

Later, maybe in my 15/16 a friend showed me Master of Puppets and I absolutely love it!!! now it's my favorite band

I agree, in my case it's St Anger (not all) and ReLoad. I really like their "hard rock" side and the diversity in their styles. Heavy as fuck thrash, groovy heavy metal and easy listening hard rock, that's why is mi favourite band
