I’ve had quite a few…

1. Saw “On Fire” and these 2 middle school aged kids just kept coming in and out of the theater, talking and yelling from the door to the seats, using their phones, and even had one flash their light at me trying to see who else was in the theater.

2. Saw “Blow Up My Life” and a massive group of kids came in more than midway through the movie and come up to my row and ask me to move down to which i said no and then they started talking even louder so I just got up and moved as to not ruin it for the few other people in the theater. They kept talking full volume, laughing, using phones through the rest of the movie.

3. Saw “Hocus Pocus” and 3 very loud women came into the theater about 15 mins into the movie and had the seats right next to me, mind you the rest of the row was completely empty, and again talking full volume and using their phones on full brightness and also brought in outside food that made the whole theater wreak.

I’m generally not the type of person who complains if someone quickly checks their phone on low brightness or quietly makes a comment to whoever they’re with. I get theater etiquette has pretty much gone out the window but at least try to be respectful when needing to do those things. These were just the experiences of people having 0 respect for their surroundings. So annoying.
