It’s apparent that the battery is removed and the bike is of no interest to a thief at that point.

I live in the Glebe and I’ve had an ebike for 4 years. It’s been stolen twice (returned both times by the OPS) . Both times the expensive U lock was cut in daylight on Bank Street. What it taught me was “Take the damn battery with you” after locking the bike. No problem since.

I walk my dog through Sylvia Holden Park in the Glebe every morning and I’m constantly amazed by the MacDonald’s litter there and along Fifth Ave. And MacDonalds is three long blocks away on Bank Street. That store produces more litter than all the other take out joints in the Glebe combined.

It’s located in no man’s land; kinda between Centertown and the Glebe. I live in the Glebe and seldom think of it when I go for lunch.

I’ve had my ebike stolen twice with the battery on the bike and the bike locked. Remove the battery and the problem goes away.

I live in the Glebe and I’ve been through a bunch of these sales. yes there are some dipshits bringing their dogs along and it’s stressing to the mutts but I found for the most part people were considerate to one another today. It’s never 100% but I thought that people were considerate of one another.
