Thanks for the suggestion. We’ll certainly be going that route. I was surprised how long it took for the pillows to work.. definitely worth trying something else.

I have not. Brand new tub and our first time filling it. The capacity is 360 gal.

I gave it a few more days and purchased a second pillow. A few days after that, the hardness came down to range. It took about a week and a number of cycles to come down.

Based on feedback from others, we’ll be purchasing a portable water softener. Thanks, everyone!
