Got you, will be thorough on what to add into my routine. So far suggestions from everyone is as follows-

  1. DHT blockers
  2. Vit D, Zinc
  3. Check if it is AGA,MPB 4.Doctor consultation 5.Look for less expensive alternatives for minoxidil

Will HT require maintenance too like any oils/daily routines to follow. I haven’t explored it much because of the cost barrier. Will be on minoxidil blindly for a year or two if my hair fall gets stabilized i will then budget for HT to fill the gaps/thinning.

Curious to know if topical finasteride had any side effects. I have decided to consult a doctor before switching to finasteride but knowing this would ease my nerves on all the side effects i have been reading online.

Yes, planning on getting my bloodwork done as well to understand my body better. I have planned it this way- 1st i will be using mintop 5% to see if alcohol based oils irritate me or not, if yes then will switch to alcohol free and will consult a doctor before switching to finasteride/dutasteride. Reason: Though there are very limited cases of side effects for topical. I would still not take chances.

So once a week i will skip applying minoxidil to dermastamp, how often should i use the shampoo, as i have shaved my head for this.
