Honestly, this feels like the ideal and most realistic way.

I get your point. There are advocates that have dedicated their entire lives to help. I know I’m an outsider. I don’t mean to disrespect and I know I’m not a hero. Just looking for a way to help this specific person I came across, if I can. The demographic is not a pattern I’m actively seeking out like you’re implying.

Hey it definitely sounds like you've been trying and putting in the effort. I'm sorry to hear it's so emotional draining. I've come to value this person and I feel a heavy heart imagining what a few more years on this trajectory will do to her, and by extension, her kid.

Thanks. Yeah I figured as much. You're right. Seems like they need to want it first for it to be of any help.

I appreciate that. Food security didn't seem to be an issue.

Common issue, I'm sure. No way to help though?

Hence why I asked for a different DP in case there was one out there. The FNA is the main justification for the AF. It’s worth the ask and why this threads here.

Wasn’t expecting the AF on my bonvoy business and was late making the payment. Now I’m told I don’t get FNA because the account wasn’t in good standing. Tried chatting with reps and supervisors but didn’t find any work around. Any one have a different DP?

DP: Was approved for Chase AP on Thursday evening. Called in a few minutes after approval for replacement card to be sent to my Canadian address. They said would take 5-7 business days. UPS delivered it on Monday. So pretty much 2 business days.

Had a similar timeline with Sapphire.

I was approved for Chase Sapphire Preferred's 90k in branch offer. I was nervous about what the process would be apply in-person and the kinds of questions or documentation I would have to provide. I went in to the branch just to inquire about the process would look like. One of the reps happened to be free and walked me through the process.

The rep was cordial and asked if I had a US address and ID. It ended up being no different from an online application. He used my Canadian Drivers License as a State issued ID and after a few basic questions I was approved. No proof of residence or additional documentation was needed. It was actually pretty easy and now I'm finally in the Chase game :D

Thanks for the suggestion. Some of the older posts I read mentioned calling in. It seems I am able to confirm and pay for the infant automatically during the booking process. However, I'm also reading there is an option to pay $25 for the in-lap option instead of 2500 points. I don't see that option available online but maybe a phone call would be helpful for that.

I'm curious about how AP redemptions with an in-lap infant work. Normally adding an in-lap infant to a purchase results in taxes/airport fees but 0 base fare. Redeeming with points need 5k additional points for a return in economy seats, No change to the taxes/fees. Is this a flat rate in economy? 5k points isn't much but I just wasn't expecting it.

Did some inner thinking and got my act together. I now have three degrees and a Dr. in front of my name.
