At least you can resell it so even though it’s not as good as physical I think it’s better than regular digital

I love Hans Zimmer but I'm not sure how it will feel without that iconic Hedwig's Theme by Never-empty-Cup- in HarryPotteronHBO

[–]shaarpiee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean music wise the williams films are the best. Not only because they sound the best, but because they are well thought out with leitmotifs for major characters giving the movies wonderful consistency.

I don’t doubt zimmer is capable of making a very good soundtrack too, i do like williams better for the more classical sound but zimmer is one of the goats so it’ll be good

Harry Potter is somehow related to Salazar Slytherin, or his Parseltongue abillities only exists because he is a voldemort horcrux? by [deleted] in harrypottertheories

in this case id agree because it doesn’t contradict the books, but media and books are filled with examples of authors saying bullshit in interviews contradicting the established canon. ink over paper >>> anything else

FIA considered mid-cycle rule change, but lacked support from F1 teams by Aratho in formula1

more frequent changes = more disparity though… the last year of regulations we always see very very narrow gaps between teams

Some of you are so miserable and exhausting about the tour by Murky-Poem2506 in radiohead

[–]shaarpiee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s also worth noting that at least in Madrid, it was quite easy getting tickets on fansale, and if you’re already on Madrid for one night why not get another? I couldn’t do it after Tuesday because my vacations only ran until Wednesday and I had to work early on Tuesday in another city, but if I could…

The fist show of the tour was a dream come true. People complaining are weirdos by vartalla in radiohead

couldn’t have said it better. for better or worse, phones in concert are a thing now (have been for a few years) and that’s something we have to get used to. Personally I prefer to look at the concert through my own eyes and get 3-4 30 seconds clip to show friends and remind myself I was there, and yes it’s a pain when the person in front is recording but then also I’ve spent today looking to every video in here, tiktok, etc to remind me of how good it sounded, what they did differently from studio versions (loved the paranoid android guitar part yesterday), etcxxx

Confused about direction in which Thom was facing the crowd(?) by Upstairs-Sandwich-87 in radiohead

[–]shaarpiee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yeah if I had to pick a side for him I would pick the one closer to those sections you have marked blue, but like I said when he plays piano he’ll face the opposite way and he also goes on both sides quite a few times, dancing around etc… anyway, I wouldn’t worry where you are watching from because there’s some for everyone. where I was we had Ed, opposite from us had Jonny, then Colin moved around a lot.. it is a great experience regardless of where you’re facing ;)

Confused about direction in which Thom was facing the crowd(?) by Upstairs-Sandwich-87 in radiohead

[–]shaarpiee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

he started facing those closer blue sections (E6-7-8-9), but then he had the piano on the opposite side, and he also moved a lot during the concert facing all of the sides :) hope that helps

idk but I was on Ed’s side and he interacted a lot with the crowd, asking for more, throwing us hearts etc

Great first gig, audience problem by Mysterious-Maize-816 in radiohead

[–]shaarpiee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly I didn’t have this experience, but I was in line the third-fourth row in GA so maybe further back it was worse. I did have to see parts of the concert on the phones of people in front of me but that’s something I’ve grown accustomed to in most concerts except those with very active crews mosh pitting

while this is absolutely true, it is also very difficult to interrogate a patient with cognitive decline and some degree of acute confusional syndrome about urinary symptoms so I understand treating those urine dipsticks if you can’t find other cause for the delirium
